today is my 1st day at work...

the post i applied for was waiter... but i felt that i more of like worked as a cleaner... a dish washer... sux lor...

well, the job is not tiring... compared to my previous jobs, piece of cake this is...

BUT... i totally hate having to wash dishes!!!

well wat happened was... the dish tray for used dishes was full... so the manager told me to take the tray to the kitchen to wash the plates... i did as told...

now huge problem!!! today is my st day at work!!! and i have absolutely no idea (not even the slightest inkling!!!) how to operate the dish washing machine!!! the cooks in the kitchen were busy then handling the orders that came flocking in... so i did not ask them for help so as not to trouble them... same for the service area... everyone was tied down with the customers... so a poor me stood in front of the damn wash basin... clueless abt how to use the dish washer... had to start scrubbing the filthy plates 1 by 1 !!! and i mean it!!! 1 by 1 !!!

zzz... hello lor... today my 1st day lor... how am i supposed to know how to use the stupid dish washing machine??? at least brief me on how to use it beforehand ma?? since u had already planned to let me do the dish washing... why leave me there to find out myself how to do it last min... zzz... very beh chey...

until the kind young chef came to my aid and adviced me on how to operate the dish washer...

even then, the washing job was tough... i had to wash off the dirty food scraps left on the plates before racking the dishes and leave the machine to clean off the thick grease... but that is ok... the grotesque part is that the wash basin is very small so is the sink pipe... which keep choking up and thus the dirty water could not flow down and end up building up in the basin... the powerful waster jet keep splashing water from the basin and onto my pants and shoes... sux lor... my bao bei shoes now dirty liao... and my pants too... walao eh...

seriously i dun mind the crowds as im used to handling crowds through my previous working experiences... but this is the 1st time i actually have to work like a cleaner...

zzzz totally turned off...

sky working admin stuff... $7/hr and quite flexible time... wah... but he dun wan intro... kenasai...

hm... maybe go see see lor... see if near my house got other jobs or not...
