We need to redefine price stability to reassess and include price of stock shares. the conventional definition of price stability means that expected changes in the average price level are small enough and gradual enough that they do not materially enter business and household financial decisions.
But this happens only in tangible consumer goods, it's an alien term to assets and investment goods such as real estate and stock market when the prices can rise beyond 1000% and fall by 90% within a day.
price stability? Laugh my ass off. Burst that bubble please.
The governments can continue to sit back and relax and let "irrational exuberance" in the stock markets crash the economy over and over again.
When will you learn your lessons? Homo sepians.
